The aim of the course is to raise awareness of the effectiveness of Art Therapy as a clinical treatment, personal exploration, and exciting career choice, whilst offering some art therapy rooted fundamentals to use in your own people-oriented work/contact. It will include presentations, case work examples, information, discussion and varied types of interactive experiential workshops. We will explore your own work/ideas too.
WHAT'S ON in 2019!
As advanced arts therapists, psychotherapists and psychological practitioners you will benefit from this day in a multi-sensory way. Not least:

Visually/viscerally: through watching video, seeing stills and hearing descriptions of a varied caseload of complex and challenging art therapy work
Practically/relational: engaging in depth work practise (n pairs/triads and group).
Intellectually/analytically: We will explore, analyse and contemplate the therapeutic decisions we make
Physically: Through making art - in response to case work, experiences on the day
